VERY IMPORTANT: Please review your account balance to ensure that you do not owe fees from previous semesters. Your account balance must be at $0.00 to ensure that there are no delays to your current financial aid disbursement. If you owe fees from a previous semester, your current financial aid disbursement will be delayed to allow the Cashier's office to collect payment and then redistribute your remaining refund via check. 

**Attention Students: If you are expecting to receive Direct Loans for the fall 2026 term, our software vendor informed us that recently there will be a delay on a system enhancement needed to accurately disburse the correct amount on the Federal loans.  Because of this delay, the new expected disbursement date will occur in the week of October 19^th.  Again, please note that this is a tentative date, and we expect to receive firm confirmation in the coming days from the vendor on the system enhancement. 

While this news is unexpected and not what we wanted to communicate, we want to ensure that your loans are processed accurately and you are given the correct amount that you applied for.  Due to the new federal guidelines that were enacted July 1, 2026, as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, changes that impacted the loan amounts for students, presented unexpected challenges for the Student Information System company.  We are committed to working timely and efficiently with our software vendor to ensure the system is configured properly to award the loans accurately.
