🎓 Class of 2024 Profile 🎓

The 2024 graduation class at SMC consists of 6,309 graduates, including 16 Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design degrees, 6,657 Associate Degrees, 3,416 graduates with more than one degree or certificate, 2,647 Certificates of Achievement, 197 Noncredit Certificates of Completion, and 208 Certificates of Competency. Among the graduates, 32.8% graduated with honors, 15.1% with high honors, and 4.3% with highest honors. The age of graduates ranges from 15 to 85 years, with an average age of 27 years. The demographics show that 59.1% are female, 38.6% are male, and 2.3% are unreported. The ethnic distribution includes 39.4% Latinx/e, 28.1% Caucasian, 9.9% Asian, 6.4% Black, and 16.1% Multi/Other. There are 563 international students, and additional student categories include 637 students with disabilities, 281 scholar students, 118 EOPS students, 27 undocumented students, and 5 foster youths. The top 10 associate degrees are AA in Liberal Arts - Arts and Humanities, AA in Liberal Arts - Social and Behavioral Science, AST/AS in Business Administration, AA in General Science, AA-T in Psychology, AA-T in Communication Studies, AA-T/AA in Political Science, AA-T/AA in Art, AA-T in Sociology, and AA-T in Economics.
