Scholars Program

Program Information

The Scholars Program is a distinctive academic community within the larger Santa Monica College campus.  This Program aims to prepare students, particularly freshman students, first-generation college students, students from underserved schools and communities, and non-traditional students for transfer to the colleges and universities of their choice.  Scholars’ students are a talented group of highly motivated individuals whose goals demand specialized and intense academic preparation and study.

The Scholars Program at Santa Monica College is a highly demanding enriched honors program that prepares students with outstanding scholastic achievements for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
